Red Wigglers (composting worms) like a balanced enviroment, not acidic or alkaline, and more browns than greens. The smaller the pieces that faster the worms will compost them.

- Cardboard (not waxy or colored)
- Paper (not glossy)

- Coconut Coir (environmentally iffy)
- Peat (slightly acidic and envir-iffy too)
- Wood chips/twigs
- Straw
- Newspaper (no color)
- Natural fabric (cotton, linen, hemp, wool)
Greens (Nitrogen)
- Food scraps
- Grass clippings
- Pulled weeds
- Coffee and tea grounds
- Plant trimmings
- Eggshells
- Seaweed
